At Fir Tree Grooming Academy we run one of the top training courses for dog groomers and stylists. One of the most important aspects of our training course is the hands-on grooming and styling of various breeds of dogs. We're always looking for suitable models for inclusion in our dog grooming training courses. 

If you have a groomed breed of dog, no matter how long since the last grooming appointment, call us to discuss including your pet on our list of available models. We don't charge for this service, and we guarantee that your pet will be treated with the utmost care and respect.  Each of our models receives individual attention and all are groomed under the close supervision of our professional teaching groomers, who have vast knowledge and experience across all breeds of dogs, so your dog will return home with an excellent style, in a cut that is reflective of it's breed.  Once on our grooming list,  we will be pleased to have your dog join us again when the next grooming date becomes due.

We often have a requirement for teaching and practical grooming of over forty dogs each week - a dog's average grooming cycle is seven weeks, and so we require at least 280 dog grooming models on our dog grooming register at any moment in time!  Those who are already registered with us are constantly pleased - in fact, impressed - with the results that are achieved with their dogs.

If you have any of the following breeds of dogs, we will be very pleased to hear from you.  Spaniel (Cocker, Springer, American, King Charles, Cavalier, etc.), Yorkies (Yorkshire Terrier), Westies (West Highland White), Shih tzu, Schnauzer, Poodle, Maltese, Bichon, Airedale, Lakelands (Lakeland Terriers), Cairn Terriers, Scotties (Scottish Terrier), Bedlingtons (Bedlington Terrier), plus any other breed of dog that requires grooming. We will be pleased to accept cross-bred dogs who's coats require grooming.  Grooming models are always groomed under experienced professional supervision, free of charge.
